column layout not consistent
 

I lost my entire store and restored it from php and tpl files I had saved. But somewhere there is something missing and I possibly uploaded an old file...which of course I cannot figure out which one!

On the customer side, some categories/subcategories/products display incorrectly as far as the size of the table goes. It's a 3 column layout and the middle column shrinks in some cases which distorts the whole page layout. What's really wierd is that it isn't consistent.
So I'm wondering if it's more than one .php or .tpl that are affected.

this is because there is little content in those pages, not a template issue as such more html issue with that layout.

I would edit home.tpl and add a width to the main central <td> tag that holds the content so that it is width="80%" or something like that.
