center dialog box
Sometimes I have too much details for a product or a really fat detailed image, so that they get squashed and covered when viewing on a smaller screen.
Any help or suggestion to this problem will be appreciated! |
Re: center dialog box
what do you mean covered?
|
Re: center dialog box
cropped is probably a better word.
The dialog box resizes automatically depending on the screen size. If the image width is bigger than the dialog box width, then only a portion of the image can be viewed. The height doesn't get affected though, because the scroll bar is available. |
Re: center dialog box
make the images smaller? or make the site wider, but most people don't want a horizontal scroll bar.

Re: center dialog box
the site is set to minimum 1024 wide, which I think is the standard?

Re: center dialog box
for a 1024 screen you will probably want to use a 980 width.
this is helpful - http://webdesign.about.com/od/webdesign/a/aa080904.htm "...Every Web browser has a scrollbar, and borders on the sides that shrink the available space from 800 to around 740 pixels or less on 800x600 resolutions and around 980 pixels on 1024x768 resolutions." |
