Remove Help Zone from all pages
 

How do I remove the Need Help? section with links from all of my pages. I find that it uses up valuable screen real-estate and I have a separate link in my speedbar that goes directly to help.php.

In addition, does anyone know why in the HELP ZONE, all of the links have no breadcrumbs tracing back to the Help Zone root (FAQ, Privacy Statement, etc), except for "Contact Us"? That seems extremely backwards to me. I would rather have Contact Us on its own and the rest be subsets of the Help Zone.

Desired Breadcrumb hierarchy:
Home > Help Zone > FAQ
Home > Help Zone > Privacy Statement
Home > Contact Us

In 4.2 these are static pages and that's the reason they are not connected to help but to pages breadcrumbs

Ok thx for the explanation, although I am still looking for an answer to the initial question - How do I remove the Need Help? section with links from all of my pages? Right now it appears in the middle white area of every page below the content.

Depends on the skin you are using it could be in bottom.tpl or home.tpl
Find and comment out
{include file="customer/help/menu.tpl"} like this
