CMS and X-Cart

Is there an easier way to edit and add pages... something like a CMS (Joomla/VirtueMart)... I'm building a site and finding it cumbersome to add pages, menus, and edit the home page... I want to add more dynamic content: news, blog, tips, etc... without constantly having to edit code... any ideas? know of any samples of x-cart being integrated with a CMS?

Have you taken a look at Ecwid http://www.ecwid.com ? It is a new e-commerce platform developed by Qualiteam, the makers of X-cart, specifically for inserting products for sale on existing web sites.

Re: CMS and X-Cart

I have asked the QuailTeam the same thing. Asking for better CMS control of standard pages. As I find xCarts handling of this extremely cumbersome. (like so many things in this tool).

but one thing that has helped, is the Module for the Smart Menu, which has replaced the speed bar, and has better control over the menu system overall.

It's definitely worth it.
