Re: Firetank Software - Highly recommended
Hi
I am using this Marketing manager for a newsletter, the newsletter displays perfectly when i receive it on Outlook, however there are serious formatting issues when I send to my yahoo and hotmail. In webmail, I cannot see the background, and all my left hand navigation menus are just simple links which are not aligned correctly. All my buttons on top navigation are just links without showing the buttons. Anyone else experience this? And how to sort out? Regards |
Re: Firetank Software - Highly recommended
Hi Rshome,
The problem here isn't with Marketing Manager, it's with the difference between how outlook shows emails and yahoo/google. For example yahoo/google will not show the background the same way as outlook. Other navigation you have done may only work in outlook. If you are using advanced HTML layouts in emails, it's always best to keep them simple so it displays in as many different email readers as possible. Advanced CSS causes problems, background images cause problems, floating div's etc. Keep the HTML simple, if necessary test it in a browser and email it to a test gmail/yahoo account if you are concerned it won't display right. Outlook can handle much more complicated items than the online readers, especially due to the fact it supports office word featured for layouts. |
Re: html newsletters in yahoo mail
Moving question to 3rd party add-ons, as it's not a rant/rave.
