New Sarting invoice number
 

I currently already have a on-line gift store going (since 1999). I would like to numerically continue with the last invoice order number my old store had with the new X-Cart Cart.

In other words (in example), my last order invoice number from my current Shopping cart program is #29862. I want X-cart (when it goes live) to start with invoice 29863.
Is this possible??

But I have version 4.2.2 and your reply does not seem to be applicable to my issue (or the folders / files) as the/your original post was dated in 2002.

This post is exactly what you need. Don't look for folders or files
Login to admin side of the store, under Administration find Patch/Upgrade and execute the sql code from the post

I hv got this msg in my new store, 4.4.2
my old store is also 4.4.2 but it seems everything is fine

You have 2 '' at the end of the number, should be 1 ' only

Hi cflsystem, it just my typo on the msg, actually my SQL has error, even I setup another store, any idea?

I just found that, it's a permission problem..

1142: ALTER command denied to user 'altuslumen'@'localhost' for table 'xcart_orders'
