/store in url
 

How do I remove the /store that is part of the url on my sites? I currently have 7 different sites and for some unknown reason /store is included in the url on 4 of the 7 sites. Thank you in advance.

Probably because they are installed in a subdirectory store. Move them to root

What steps do I take to move them into the root directory?

Move all the files from /store to /. Edit config.php to reflect the new location. Edit .htaccess file in root directory to reflect the new location. Redirect 301 all /store url's to / to preserve url's already indexed by SE's.
