How to Make a Test Copy
 

HI,

With the version i got i can not run on my new server due to php & Myql 5 version.

Before do anything i want to test this store in local but how do i do it?

Do i need to install php & mysql 4.0 server ?

Yes.
http://www.wampserver.com/en/

has apache, mysql and php. Just install that and you're pretty much good to go. Just need to create a database.

The issue is can not run on SQL 5?

So have you managed to test? Where is your Images?

You can install new version and just export all the relevant database tables data and import to your new cart. ( i did for test and look Ok)

But please ask and confirm from one of the expert in here.

I have managed to upgrade upto 4.0.14 to 4.0.19 but

When i try to upgrade from Version 4.0.19 to 4.1.12 then i got this error?

Can't upgrade X-Cart version 4.0.14 to 4.1.12 ?

But in back end xcart_config is version = 4.0.19 ???

Even the http://mysite/VERSION say 4.0.19

where is this 4.0.14 coming from?

Check the config file and let me know your DB ?
