news.tpl help needed
I have added the following code into my home.tpl in hopes of makeins news only show up on the main page, and not sub pages...
{if $location eq "" }{include file="news.tpl"}{/if} Well, this worked like 90% of the time, every page (except for the front page) the news is gone, except for the shopping cart, it comes back. Any ideas? |
Code:
{if $main eq "catalog" and $cat eq "" }{include file="news.tpl"}{/if} home_main.tpl is a good pointer for this kind of thing hth |
.
It would be sooo good if just make news tpl catagorywise.
Do ya think this will work if catagory ----- include "news1.tpl and just go up. But what should I enter where it says catagory " " , Catagory name or Number? Thanks. |
{if $cat eq "123"}
{/if} |
.
Great. done. Thanks.
I will add up some more in home_main.tpl Thanks. |
