Is it possible to search extra field's value ?

Please advise how to modify search function so it can search extra field's value ?

Case:

A record shopping cart and has an extra field called Artist. User would like to be able to search the artist name.

Yep, pretty easy too.

IS this extra field and extra field through Xcart or did you go through phpmyadmin and make an actual new column?
