AC Onsale - disabled categories
 

It seems you cannot pick an item from a disabled category when setting up a sale.

For example. I have some items that I want to give out as free gifts, but they are not available for sale anywhere in the store.

I set up a disabled category tto put them in, and I have auto add free items to cart, the idea being that the free gift gets auto added.

When setting up the sale though, and selecting the disabled category, it does not list the products inside to be selected.

I had to enable the cateogry to get them to show.

Not sure if this is an AC thing, or if AC is just using the default xcart functions.

Using a disabled category for sale type 5 (spend X get Z discount) is working for me (alteredCart_On_Sale_v1.2.7).

Hi,

this is in the get product Y free/disc type.

to select a product you click browse, and there is an xcart style popup with bookmarked products at the top, and a list of categories down the left hand side, I selected the category, but the products did not display after clicking the button, it said something like there are no available products to display,
