Change text color of "search" and "advanced search"
Working in 4.2.1 and endlessly looking through the main/css template a quick question. How do I change the text color of the "search" and "advanced search" text near the top of the home page? Thank you.

Re: Change text color of "search" and "advanced search"
Look for one of these in your css file:
input, textarea I'd also suggest downloading firefox ( http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ ) and firebug ( https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1843 ) which allows you to change all CSS in your browser. You can click on inspect, hover your mouse over the search box and left click once. It'll select that part of the html code and from there you can navigate up or down thru the CSS layers. |

I found it, thank you. Firebug sounds like a life saver, I'm having problems downloading but will figure out why.

Re: Change text color of "search" and "advanced search"
Be sure you use the correct version of firebug with the right version of firefox.
Otherwise, all you have to do is click 'Install' on the page and you should get a pop-up box about 3 seconds later. |
