How to hide cash on delivery payment method when a product extra field is "Y"?

Is it possible to hide the Cash on delivery payment method when a product extra field is "Y"?

I have an extra field "Ship by mail", so when it's "Y" i want the cash on delivery to dissapear. The shipping option are hiding by putting free shipping..

Any help would be great. Thank you
