Main Page - Category View

Ok - For some reason I cannot seem to figure out how to display category thumbnails on the main page of the store. Older versions of X-Cart that I have up and running work. I know it can be done in 4.2.X but for some reason I can't figure out how I did it in the past.

This is an example of what I am talking about..

Well it's not a built in feature/function of any version of x-cart - so what you had there was a custom mod that you got from somewhere, or had done for you.

Have a look in your original skin1/customer/main/welcome.tpl to see what is making this happen on your old site.
I believe there may have been a mod in this forum in completed mods that did that - whether you used that or not is another question. Another question is whether it has been updated for 4.2.
Probably technically it will still work if you moved it across - although you'd be best at least updating it to make it tableless, like the new 4.2 template.
