Customize Category Menu
 

I have searched all over this forum and cant find exactly what I am looking for. I want to customize my categories so they display nicer. We actually purchased the Fancy Categories but our needs have changed and that isnt what we need. We have added a top menu bar with the main categories so wish to only have the sub categories display on the side once in the category. I would like to make some nice boxes with bigger text. Where can I edit the style to make it look like I want?

Moving to template editing, as the Custom Mods forum is for posting completed code only. There are a number of menu customization posts in the Completed Custom Mods forum - try searching for 'category menu' in that specific forum.

Sorry, I didnt mean to post there. I did that search and saw some things but not what I need. I would rather just do it myself. Just dont know where to start. I really like looking at your work Padraic...

Thanks for the compliments! :) You can make the classes for the side menu links whatever you want - just assign a class to the links, and use CSS to format them with boxes, images, rollovers, etc.
