Quick Search Mod Problem
 

Hi All,

I recently purchased the quick search mod from xcartmod.com.

I'm having a slight issue. I have all of the files uploaded, the patches in place, the admin configured, and the tpl file included where I want it, but all I get is the "Loading.." message. You can see what I mean here -

Are there any common problems or mistakes I may have made that might cause the drop-downs to never load? My store is quite small right now as it's still in development, so I can't imagine it's struggling to get all the categories.

Also, the file 'skin1/customer/quick_search.tpl' is mentioned in the USAGE portion of the readme - I don't see this file.. Is that just a typo?

Lastly, I'm noticing that IE7 is spitting out a javascript error near line 153 of skin1/modules/xCartMod_Quick_Search/js.js saying that "req.responseJS.send is null or not an object". Could just be IE being weird, I'm not sure.

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!

I also purchased this module and have same issue. I am getting a message indicating Loading...

I open a ticket on Saturday, but no responce yet. I would appreciate any available solution.

Hi Fred,

As you know, this issue was resolved quite quickly - the license key was in the wrong location.
