multi language additional fields on users profile (HOW?)
 

I want to add an extra field on the users profile that will appears when they register. The extra profile will ask them how did they got in my shop and it will have a select box with 4-5 options.

The question now is.. I have 2 languages on my shop, but i didn't find how to make that field to change with the language. I thought that maybe it can be done by adding the variables in the languages? but then what is have to type in the additional field?I mean how can i call the language variables i added...

Hi again,

I think the short answer is that you can't without doing some custom programming.
You will find some areas in X-Cart which are not multi-lingual e.g. shipping methods, states (and prior to V4.2.X payment methods weren't multi-lingual either).

Ask X-Cart first perhaps - as I (and doubt few others) have ever added an extra field for users.
But as I say, I think the answer will be some custom coding is needed (in my own case, when required, I got a programmer to make these use language tags - so I put a language tag into the box and update text on the language tags).
