Moving product details
 

Hi,

I know this has been covered already - but I can't seem to make it work! I want to move the product details, add to cart, add to wishlist etc from after the description to up next to the image (before the desc).

Every change I seem to make to product.tpl dosn't seem to stick. This is the correct template? It seems like this should be an easy thing to do but I can't seem to make it work.

Can someone please spell out for me how to do it? Obviously I'm overlooking something.

Have a look at the bugs forum - there are a few that deal with template editing in 4.2, which is probably the issue you are having.

thanks i'll take a look, but i'm not using the built in editor and I thought that was the most of the issues.

If you are editing the templates outside of X-Cart, you need to be sure to clear your template cache after you make any edits. You can do that in your summary/tools area.

Check the bugs forum, lots of them and one may be related to this.

Are you making sure to modify the /skin1/customer/main/product.tpl file, and not the skin1_original directory, this could be confused.
