Email customers to request reviews (after purchase)
 

I'd like to email customers after they make a purchase to encourage them to leave a review on the product they bought.

1 - Is there a user review module that allows this? What about this:

2 - Is this spam? What guidelines should we observe to avoid spamming?

Why not just put some text and a link in the order confirmation e-mail?

Yeah, that is one option we're considering.

The problem with sending it with the confirm email is that in almost every case, the user hasn't received the product, so it is unlikely they'll leave a review.

I would imagine this would recall some scheduled service at the DBMS level...

Any input would be valuable.
