Adding "Read More" toggle to welcome.tpl
 

Hi All

I would like to have a few hundred words on my home page to help with SEO. But I don't want to have all of the text show when the page is loaded.

I want to add a "Read More" javascript toggle to see the rest of the text without linking to another page. (read - the text is on the home page but not visible, but can be read by the search engines).

Anyone have the code that I can paste into welcome.tpl? Any help would be appreciated.

You sure you want to do that? Borderline unethical practice - search engines and people have to be presented the exact same thing. If this were ethical, don't you think everyone would have 100000 keywords on the home page hidden but visible to search engines? :) Google already knows this trick and adjusts accordingly, so I would advise against it.
