Featured Products Again
 

I have featured products listed on my main site. I would like to modify it to only have the thumbnail, product name and provider. When you click on the product name, I would like for it to go to the product page with more information and to purchase the item. When you click on the provider, it will take you to all the products for that provider.

Can someone tell me if I am correct in making changes to the following files? Do I need to modify both files or just one? I'm just wanting to change the feature products not any of the other product pages.

for 4.2.0 it should be
/skin1/customer/main/products_t.tpl
/skin1/customer/main/products_list.tpl

Please note that aproximately a half of this work could be done in admins back-end
