Templates_c delete help please
 

All of the files in my templates_c directory are nobody/nobody so I am not able to delete them as I get a permissions error if I try through FTP and SSH. What can I do to delete these files so I can start with a fresh cache.

I'm on 3.4.7 and I know that there is a delete templates cache button in the summary section but I am hesitant to click it as back when I was on 3.3.3 I ran the cleanup.php file and it deleted all my customised tpl files in skin1.

cleanup.php is the same as the one in summary.

this empties the templates_c folder not skin1

Lets hope so. The last time sucked big time.

Or rename your current temp folder and make a new templates_c and chmod it 777 if you want an ultra safe route.

I went the new templates_c folder route and set X-Cart to no sub directories and I am a happy camper again :)
