How to put a hard link in the help menu.
 

Hi All,

I have about 10 static pages that appear in the help menu (guides.tpl)

For some reason the links only work about half of the time - the other half you get page not found errors - all permissions are ok and the files are in the \pages\us\ folder.

Not overly concerned as we have a new site coming online in the next week or so. But in the mean time want to insure these links still work. I thought teh easiest way is to just put in an old fashioned link to a html file. But was having some trouble getting it to work.

Can anyone advise the code I need - I dont understand what the capture statements do in that file - but i cant seem to get anything to work...

well, you should just be able to just add the links in the help.tpl

the links are like so.

pages.php?pageid=1

1 should be the number associated with the static page.

If you click on the page in teh admin to edit it ti will tell you the page id in teh URL bar.
