checkout process display
 

I use the Fastlane module and I'm using the 3-column format. The only thing i don't like is that during the checkout process, the right and left columns disappear leaving just the cart visible in the center. Is there any way to keep the 3 column format active during the whole process? I think it'll give it a cleaner look. Thanks!

Well, it is that way for a reason - you don't want any distractions for the customer once they get in there. Look at Amazon - they do it well - once you start checkout, they want you to finish, not shop anymore :)

I think if you choose not to use FLC that it will display the checkout as if it was just another page on your site (and show all of your columns) but as Balinor said, it is distracting to the customer.
