BCS Engineering & Altered Cart Mods
 

Hello Everyone,

I have several mod's installed, and am looking to add the following ones from alteredCart.

- One Page Checkout
- On Sale :: Promotions, Sales & Specials

What I would like to know is if alteredCart's On Sale :: Promotions, Sales & Specials and One Page Checkout mod's will work together with the following mod's from, BCS: Shipping Estimator and Customer Reward Points, and WebsiteCM: Easy Recommends and ezUpsell.

If anyone has any feedback, please let me know.

I really was concerned that the "Reward Points" may not play nice with those 2 mods. So thanks so much for the update =)

Is anyone using BCS's "Rewards Points" along with alteredCart's "One Page Checkout" and "Sales and Specials" mods? If so, I would love to hear your feedback =)

To clarify, I have a number of clients using those mods together, and they work just fine :)

I was about to buy the reward points mod from BCSE and literally asked Bill and Carrie the same question yesterday....

If you own Checkout One, look inside the original zip distribution, for file:
CUSTOMER REWARDS POINTS USERS PLEASE READ THIS.txt

There you go... I missed it as well...

I've got the OnSale and customer reward points and don't seem to have any problems. It would be FAB if they could work together though, offering extra points for purchasing certain items etc,

You can though offer extra points for buying certain items. That feature's been in there since 2003. Just use the extra field option and put in the points you want for a particular product and that will be the points earned instead of the regular rate. So you can use this to make a product worth 0 points, or double points, etc.

of course d'oh! I was setting up a load of sales the other day and I remember wanting to do aomething like this - I can't remember exactly what went through my head though! OK - so how about spend over X get Y bonus points!
