Removing Product Image
 

Hey all

I ran into a problem with my product images and detailed images. Basically the product image (not thumbnail, the in product image) for some reason is linked to the width of the "detailed image" which is in a seperate section from the info box above. No clue why really, seems like a bug but at any rate, I thought my solution would be to just disable product images (again not thumbnails or detailed images) as the detailed image has a nice big view of my product anyway, so no need to have a thumbnail followed by a semi bigger followed by yet another semi bigger image. I uploaded a screenshot to clarify as reading my post it sounds confusing :)

The big red cross is the space I want to be gone so the text on the right slots in to the left.

I changed my max height and width in the appearance options to both "1" in a attempt to make it seem like there is no image (as when you don't add a image it automatically adds the ugly "no image" default image)

But this leaves a big wide open empty space which as mentioned for some reason is linked to the detailed image section below (as when there is no detailed image, it does exactly what i want to do)...

Long story short, how can I disable the top image so the empty space is gone :)

your problem could be related to one of this bugs

It might be but I am not interested in fixing the image bug, I want the image totally gone and the text to use the entire space :-)

Never mind, I figured it out the usual way, deleting a whole bunch of lines and looking what changed :)

Can you let me know how you did this. I am also interested in deleting the thumbnail from the product detail page. Thanks!

P.S. Looking specifically for 4.3.0, if that matters :)
