CSS changes broke the search function in 4.2
Hi all,
I am making some CSS changes to my test install of x-cart 4.2. I have not made any changes to any of the templates. Only to the main.css file. And only making positioning and color changes. Nothing else. Now my search will no longer work! The be more specific, you can not click into the search field, clicking on the search button gives no response and clicking on the "Advanced" link also does not work (I changed the Advanced Search to Advanced using the languages module - so no actual coding changes here). Does anyone have any idea? The domain the software is installed on is http://leatherbear.net Don't be confused that the logo references another domain as I am getting thing setup here, then will move the changed CSS over to the actual site. And yes, I do have licenses for both domains in question. |

works for me as well?
I don't see any problems. Perhaps you need to clear your cache? (people are always telling me that anyway) I know with FireFox on a Mac that the x-cart fields sometimes "timeout" or something so you can't input data into them? You close it down and open up again and its resolved itself. Unfortunately, I am obviously more novice then you are so there's not much I can do to help By the way congrats on figuring out 4.2 (I'm still trying) I wish I could figure out how everyone changes the top area in x-cart. But you are doing a good job! If it were me, it would have been moving the search bar that broke it. I would have done something wrong in the code. If it was HTML I'd say look for an unfinished tag. Not sure if there is an equivalent in x-cart? |
