tips for animated gifs in x-cart
 

Hi everyone,

just uploaded an animated gif to the home page of my site and the thing doesn't animate anymore :( - probably just a check box I need to tick to allow this to happen but have no idea where to begin. Any suggestions as to why it is not animating gratefully received.

There isn't a checkbox, no. Does the image animate when you view it by itself?

yes it was created for another site and when I view locally by opening the file with explorer it animates. I just uploaded it the same way I always upload static pics and it isn't animating

I mean does it animate when you view it by itself in the browser?
