How do you apply a language patch?

Im installing X-Cart Price Match with Captcha from http://www.xcartmods.co.uk or trying to at least.

I'm stuck on step 7:
7) Apply the patch to add new language labels...

I'm a bit green to this. It's an sql file. What exactly do you do with this file?

Thanks so much in advance!!

you can do this in admin, goto Patch/Upgrade.
Then scroll down to the bottom, where you will see the section for SQL patches. You can now paste the patch into the box, or upload it from your computer.
Hope that helps.

Re: How do you apply a language patch?

I have applied the patch and it says that it was applied successfully. The patch appears to have all of the labels in it. BUT nothing is appearing. I have checked the language labels and nothing appears to be there.

So...I have added a few of them by hand, and THEY don't seem to be appearing! I have checked the tpl and it seems that they call to them and *should* be showing.

The form appears to be working, but for some reason none of the labels are showing?

Any suggestions?

Re: How do you apply a language patch?

I have gotten the labels to appear by entering them by hand and running the /cleanup.php. For some strange reason the patch would show as accepted, but they would not be in the language set.

I am getting an error after submitting:

Access denied !
You are not allowed to access that resource!
Error ID: 33

Anyone have any idea on how to fix that? I'm not sure what it would not be allowing.
