Subcategory display in different browsers - can it be made consistent?

I'm putting the finishing touches to a new store and have struck a problem which I'm not sure how to solve.

When subcategories are displayed with the number of products detailed next to them, the display of the subcategories (or rather the spacing between them) is not consistent across browsers.

In fact it seems that Firefox is the only accurate representation with other browsers appearing to be space these at random.

I've attached a Firefox view and a Safari view of the same category which clearly shows the issue.

Has anybody had this problem? Know a simple fix? Want to take on the fix as a quick job?

All suggestions / offers gratefully received. I'm certainly no super techno, but am quite patient and can follow clear instructions

Thanks in advance

The reason for the inconsistent listing of the subcategories is the image. If the image is larger (taller) than the list of subcategories, they will justify to fill the area left over.

Cool!

Thanks for the quick fix, the fact that Firefox justifies them a whole lot better than the other browsers set me off down the wrong path......

Fixed & sorted by inserting the image into the text above the subcategory box

Thanks again :D
