Marketing Manager Invalid License
 

I'm trying to test an impending server move where X-cart has been copied to a test server.

As part of the testing I'm simply updating the information in my hosts file on my local PC to point to the IP addresses on the new server. This way, I can then test X-cart as it will run on the new server. However, Marketing Manager is complaining of an invalid license when I try to run it. I am not sure how this can be as the domain is the same, the only real change is the IP address.

I'm having to do this quite quick and haven't had a response from Firetank yet soooo, I was wondering if anyone knows for sure that this is an IP based issue going on? I'm finding that other 3rd Party mods (e.g. EzUpsell) work fine.

MM only works on the domain it is licensed to unfortunately, so you'll need to disable it until the domain is in place.

Thanks Balinor.

Kurt has just emailed me an we're sorting this. The domain is the same but it's to do with the licensing of the location of the PHP scripts that's causing the issue.
