add cat description to subcat list
 

OK, when you click on the cats on the left a list of sub cats comes up. I would like to add the cat descition to the list of sub cats.

so

main Cat

Sub Cat1
Cat description lskdjhfsdhfsd;kjf;sdlkjkfd

Sub Cat2
Cat description lskdjhfsdhfsd;kjf;sdlkjkfd

Sub Cat2
Cat description lskdjhfsdhfsd;kjf;sdlkjkfd

Been working on it for a bit and can't get it to come up.

Any suggestions?

on a side note...

{$subcat.category.description}

adds the first letter of the subcat

Did you ever figured out this issue?

I'm also trying to pull the subcategory descriptions and nothing shows. I've tried $subcat.description, $subcat.desc, $subcat.descr and a bunch of other things.
