Can somebody tell me where to find and change the code to have the product images that are displayed in the cart draw from my product thumbnail directory instead of my product image directory?

All of your product images are in the x-cart root "images" directory. There are folders inside marked C (for category icons), D (for product detail images), M (for manufacturer icons), P (for product images), T (for product thumbnail images), and W (for product variant images).

What is it you are trying to do exactly?
