Hide Prices all throughout cart & checkout process
 

I would like to know how I can hide the pricing of products throughout the site. Client decided he would like to receive orders & have it read Request a Quote instead of Check Out. So he wants to receive their orders but call them later with the price.

I have most of it completed but I cannot seem to hide the pricing on the cart checkout process.

Under 'General Options -> Appearance Options -> Cart & Checkout' I have 'Display detailed cart totals information:' set as 'Never'. I thought that would be the step to make it work but it doesn't work out.

Did you try looking at cart.tpl, and the associated templates (cart_totals.tpl, cart_details.tpl, etc.)? That is probably where the prices are coming from. Try just commenting out the parts that display on the page.

That helped and this is what I did:

On cart.tpl & anonymous_checkout.tpl I commented out:
{include file="customer/main/cart_totals.tpl"}

The invoice files I edited to reflect no pricing were:
skin1\mail\order_data.tpl
skin1\mail\html\order_data.tpl
cart\schemes\templates\light_and_lucid\mail\html\o rder_data.tpl
