Donate Form
Is there a way to create a product that acts as a donate form.
I want the customer to be able to enter the amount of their donation... kinda set there own price for the product. |
Re: Donate Form
Maybe this is too simple... but if you set a price of zero, customers can enter their own price!

Re: Donate Form
You might want to give them "free shipping" on their donation also. :)

You might not want to tax them either.

Re: Donate Form
ok set the price to 0 but it just says enter your price. where does the custoemr put the amount in?
Im confused? |
Re: Donate Form
It should show a blank entry form in the "product details" page" for price.
Try putting 0.00 as the price, that is what we did for a similar "product". It may show "Our Price" as $0.00 in some places, but we decided we could live with it. |
Re: Donate Form
thx got it working.

Re: Donate Form
Just saw this, Is there a clean way to accept donations for charities during checkout? If a donation is disguised as a product, it is messy since it involves multiple clicks before checkout...
Ideally, a checkbox such as "Donate now" with then customer entering their donation amount or a drop-down showing donation amounts in multiples of say $5. |
