Changing the heading of the Manufacturers box?
 

Hi,

I want to change the heading that says "Manufacturers" in the left side box below "Bestsellers". I thought this would be an easy find and replace mod, but I can't find it. :?

Can someone please tell me what template I can do this in?

FYI, Webmaster Mode is extremely handy for finding out what template is what :)

I found the template after some difficulty (I was in the admin templates I think) but still can't make the change. I think the header is the tag "$lng.lbl_manufacturers", but where is the data associated with that tag? There must be somewhere where I can find the header data and change "Manufacturers" to "whatever"...

Also, while trying to do this and somehow meddling in the wrong area, I caused all the headers to change to green. I restored the .tpl I was meddling in but the green stuck. Any idea on how to fix this?

Update: Huh??? I came out of webmaster mode and the green disappeared from the live cart. Is that a system warning that I'm in webmaster mode?

The green is only shown for webmaster mode to tell you what you can edit - if you double click on 'Manufacturers' in the menu while in webmaster mode, you can change the text on the fly :)

I guess I missed that feature somewhere. That was easier than I expected.

One more little thing... the categories listed in "Categories" are a little crowded. Where do I go to change the style sheet or layout that affects its line spacing?

That would be skin1.css - under 'edit templates' in your admin area. Look at customer/categories.tpl to see how it is set up, and adjust the styles accordingly.
