live pages don't reflect uploaded templates
 

hi,
i have the most bizarre problem. i upload a new template, but the live store pages don't reflect the new templates. (it's been an entire day since i uploaded the new templates)

if i go to edit templates, the template there is the correct new one.

but clearing the cache on the browser, or going to summary > tools > clear template cache doesn't do anything either (it also leaves 445 templates in place)

any ideas why this would be happening?
two days ago everything was working correctly - the pages would update automatically as soon as i uploaded a new template.

Have you tried emptying the template cache via ftp?

It should be 0. Are your permissions set correctly? It is the var/templates_c folder and should be 777. It will "fill up" again in nothing flat, but it should say "0" until you at least refresh the page.

i just deleted all the templates via ftp and that worked!
