Product Meta Tags Plus
 

Hi,

I recently installed Product Meta Tags Plus (BCSEngineering).
I just discovered when viewing the code of my existing products, the meta keywords are repeated twice within the keyword meta tags like this:
blue, widget, 2008, blue, widget, 2008

Also, I noticed in my Google Webmaster Tools/Diagnostics/Content Analysis, I have Duplicate Meta Descriptions & Duplicate Title Tags.

Just wondering if these are the causes of Product Meta Tags Plus add-on and if it needs fixing or if its OK to leave it since I have quite alot of products. Sumbitted a ticket to BCSE but they haven't responded in a couple of days.

Moving to Third Party Add-ons. Did you install this yourself or did they do it for you?

I installed it myself. I think I followed the instruction correctly.

It seem to work correctly when adding a new product and filling in the their meta description and keywords. However the existing products are showing the repeated keywords.

I'd double check the install - editing meta.tpl is pretty tricky.
