My settings on skin swap options:

Allow skin swapping?: checked

Swap skin with:
Store Language use="sl"
Affiliate ID use="partner"
Skin variable use="skin"
Or use any variable you wish.: skin


Enter Directory of templates repository, Set to blank if you wish to use directories from the root directory of your X-cart installation. (xcart/): skin_swap


Enter Default Skin Directory in Template Repository if none is specified.: skin1

Set Skinswap debug template (either debug.tpl for details or debug_templates.tpl for just templates): debug_templates.tpl


when i click save my page displays blank? I already created a skin_swap directory and inside the folder(skin_swap) is skin1. PLS HELP.

could anyone tell me how to install and configure skin swap? are their files that needs to be configured? PLS HELP

Have you opened a ticket with the vendor you ordered it from?

I just followed the instructions in the readme.txt inside the cartlab-skinswap.zip.

1. Make a backup copy of xcart/smarty.php just incase. DONE

2. Login to your admin area of your X-cart and apply the SQL patch found
in this archive entitled "skinswap.sql". DONE

3. Create a subdirectory entitled "skin_swap" in the root installation of
your x-cart. (default is xcart/) This will be your skin repository. DONE

4. Copy your existing skin1/ directory into the newly created "skin_swap".
So you have a directory structure like so:

|->shopping.freeprizes.com.au
|->skin_swap
|->skin1

DONE

|-> xcart (or root)
|-> skin_swap
|-> skin1

5. Copy the file "smarty.php" from this archive over your existing xcart
smarty.php file replacing its contents in its entirety. NOTE: Each
X-Cart version has a sepearte smarty.php file, if you are using 4.1.x
use the smarty.php file from this subdirectory, etc. If you are using
a version before X-Cart version 4.0.14 use the file smarty.php.4.0.x
instead of the smarty.php file in the 4.0.x subdirectory. DONE

6. Now you are ready to start swapping, please read the details below
for a detail description on how the skin swap system works and is
setup!

I dont know what i had done wrong? REALLY NEED YOUR HELP
