Shopping cart - checkout - place order
 

Hi,

The background table of the Shopping cart > checkout > place order is transparent.

I need to make it white so the whole background will not show.

Could somebody tell me which area I should be looking at? Cause this happens only when a product is added to the cart.

And how do you keep the categories and the two box columns beside the content visible even in the shopping cart. Cause it disapears.

It's Fast Lane Checkout plugin.
It uses it's own home.tpl and css files. So you should edit /skin1/modules/Fast_Lane_Checkout/home.tpl

You can just copy contents of your skin1/customer/home.tpl file there, just replace central part. It consists only of four or five strings and commented as <!-- central space -->
