hi,

how do i create a new dialog.tpl file and make sure that it's captured correctly (i.e. {capture name=dialognew} instead of {capture name=dialog}?

I don't think you need to worry about "{capture name=dialognew} instead of {capture name=dialog}" , just make sure you call for the new dialog.tpl where you are using it....

Here is an example
{ include file="dialognew.tpl" dingbats="dingbats_news.gif" dialog_title=$lng.lbl_news menu_content=$smarty.capture.dialog }
