Multiple Items Mod to products_t.tpl
 

I've searched the forums for quite a while trying to see if anyone has done a certain modification to the products_t.tpl but haven't had much luck. I'm trying to create a one line/product list for each category that would have a quanity box where the customer could add a certain number of each item all at once to the shopping cart.

Any ideas would be very much appreciated.

Sorry I wasn't super clear. Pictures always work better. Looking for something like this:

The customer can type in whatever amounts they want and then add them all at once to the cart.

The mod I linked will do that, you just need to re-format the page the way you want.

You never cease to amaze me. That sounds like what we are looking for. Any thoughts on adjusting the format to stretch the item across the page? When we switch to 1 item per line, it groups it one per line, but the text is below the pic resulting in a very extended page. Would love to have the pic on the left with the description running to the right of it so the page is not so long. I'm sure someone has already done this, but I couldn't find a thread on it. Thanks for your help!

You just need to adjust the format of the html on the page. I'd set the General Settings/Appearance options to 1 product per row to start, and then adjust customer/main/products.tpl to fit your design (remove the description, put the price in another column, etc)
