image locations for static pages, and product details.
 

I think i understand the directory structure, but please correct me if I'm wrong.
There are these sub-directories in my images folder.

/C - Categories ?
/D - Details? product detail?
/M - Manufactures ?
/P - product image
/T - thumbnail image ?

Skin1 / images is for anything related to your look / feel..

So in keeping with this methodology,
where would you place a new directory for mics images you will use during product descriptions?
My initial intuition was to place them under the images folder, under a new folder..

images/*AI*/xxx.jpg

I assume its not correct to call out the smarty tags for the description sections?
I dont really understand how the smarty tags work.

If you are you calling for the images in the short or long descriptions, you would not need to create an additional folder but yes they would go in the skin1/images dir. And yes you can create folders within the skin1/images dir.
