What does products.tpl affect?
 

Hi,

I have removed pricing from my catalogue page, http://www.gfunkandbatz.com/home.php?cat=1, in order to encourage users to view the product details and image gallery.

I did this by editing customer/main/products.tpl

It doesn't seem to affect any other pages, but I thought I would check in this forum to make sure as the site is live and I don't want any unexpected surprises.

Yes, that is just the product listings page, so yes, it controls the catalogue page there - but also you may be using it for featured products.

I am not using the featured products at this stage but will keep this in mind.
