Fixed Width, Centered Layout Help
 

Hello,

I am trying to alter the layout of my site to a 900px wide, centered layout. (behind which I'd then like to add some gradient backgrounds, but I'll tackle that when I get to it)

If I change "Rectangle_top.tpl" to 900px, (and some associated tables in home.tpl) I can get the site to fix it's width. But it's left justified.

If I add a DIV in "rectangle_top.tpl" that shows <div align=center> and close the </div> in rectangle_bottom.tpl", it will CENTER in IE but not Firefox.

Also, I am finding that the text is all centering as well, with that one "align center" div.

I'd like to center the 900 px. fixed with site in all browsers but keep the text left-justified.

Can anyone assist in explaining what I am going wrong?
