How to insert Images in About page
 

Hi all,

I can't find in manual (and it's the weekend :) :( )
.... the answer to how an image is inserted into one of the Help pages (the About section). I tried inserting:

[img]{$ImagesDir}/xxx.jpg[/img] via the WebMaster mode and this mangled the code.

I tried inserting this in the txt portion of the Languages admin, but still came up with an empty image icon.

I tried various combos of "" and no "" and paths to the remote local I'm testing site on. But nothing budges.

Are there different rules for these pages than the templates I've been editing in admin??

the easiest way
 

the easiest way to do this is just use frontpage or any html program to make the portion of your web page you want in the about section and just copy the code and paste it into the about_txt file in the languages section, it may also be better to use absolute images paths instead of the smarty tag ex. http://www.yourx-cart-site.com/image.jpg, try that and see if it works
