Button Problem
Hi everyone,
I recently changed the image files that make up the buy now and add to wish list buttons. All I did was recolor the old buttons. Now when I go to my store, I am unable to click the first set of buttons on a page. For example, the featured products on the home page. The buttons for the first product listed do not work, but the buttons for the second one do. In the product pages, the add to cart button and wishlist button do not work either. I'm havign a hard time trying to figure out what went wrong. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Here is a link to the store (still under construction): http://coppercakestands.com/coppercakestands/store/home.php |
Re: Button Problem
It has to have been something else you did. Are you sure you haven't changed something else recently?

Re: Button Problem
No, the only thing that I've been doing recently is messing with the color scheme.

Re: Button Problem
Internet Explorer gives me this error:
Line: 289 Char: 2 Error: 'document.orderform_1_1212151648' is null or not an object Code: 0 when i try to click the first buy now button on the home page |
Re: Button Problem
Yeah it is saying the first document.orderform is undefined in Firefox. Is there any way you can check the dates on any of your files and see if they were changed recently? Check your site with FTP and what date the files have on them. It really looks like something else what changed besides a image.

Re: Button Problem
Any idea of what files I should be looking at? We've been updating the site fairly regularly, and it's just now getting near completion. Unfortunately I'm not entirely sure if this happened before or after I tried to change the color of the buttons.

Re: Button Problem
I would start with products.tpl and products_t.tpl depending on whichever you are using. In fact, if you change the setting in admin you can test which of these may have a problem. Also look at featured.tpl, common_js.tpl and bascially every other template and php file you have modified recently, probably working backwards from the latest modification until you find the problem.
