TelaFirma mod incompatible with 4.1.9?
 

I'm just wondering if anyone is having this problem:

I upgraded from 4.0.x to 4.1.9 and reinstalled (thanks to the help of Stephen) the TelaFirma dynamic image generator. All originally installed products are showing their images but any newly added product will not. Turning off the mod will allow the new images to appear. X-Cart tell me this mod is not compatible with 4.1.9 - quote: "I believe the Dynamic Images mod which was installed with your previous X-Cart version is not compatible with the latest X-Cart version. I would recommend you to contact the authors of the module on the matter."
but then how come it works just fine with all my originally listed products?

Any ideas appreciated.

you need to ensure that you are using the 4.1 release of the Telafirma mod, which you should be able to get from Telafirma

I also have an issue with this mod on a customers site (4.1.9).

I am unable to get the auto swap of the product image on a variant.

Emailed Telafirma a few times and have heard nothing back. If I can't find a fix I need to get it removed and go back to the stock image handing before the guy loads a few thousand products.

I helped funkymonkey troubleshoot this problem, it was caused by his images being stored in the Database rather than the Filesystem (won't work if images are in DB)

That was super kind of you to jump in and troubleshoot that for me. This is really a 'Must Have' mod - it makes all the difference in the world to product presentation.
