Get LightWindow to work in X-cart
 

Does anyone know how to get LightWindow (http://www.stickmanlabs.com/lightwindow/) to work in X-cart? I've used it many times in regular websites, but for some reason, I can't get it to display in X-cart. I'm wondering if there is something in X-cart that makes the javaScript to not run properly. I even tried hard-coding the references to the javaScript and CSS files that I put in my /skin1/lightwindow folder with no luck.

Any ideas?

Couple of alternative ideas for you (or suspect you will find the answer of how to integrate by looking at the code seen in these couple of options)...

a) See a free module that form member PhilJ has kindly provided (option I personally prefer - which is based on http://mjijackson.com/shadowbox/ ) :- see http://www.xcartmods.co.uk/x-cart-shadowbox-integration/

b) Search for "lightbox" integration in the forums.... e.g. http://forum.x-cart.com/showthread.php?t=23858&page=22&highlight=lightbox
