New link section on the left
 

I have created a new section on the left side of my store called general_info.tpl, but have associated it with help.php. I am trying to create general_info.php that will point different links to my center section which will be static.

The purpose of this section is to host information like Company Info, Photo gallery, etc...... I don't want to place these links in the help section. I guess I don't understand what smarty code or php I need to include. Any suggestions? Thanks

Could use the static pages option and put in an embedded page.

The menu item will appear at the bottom of the help section but this can be moved by going into help.tpl and moving the {include file="pages_menu.tpl"} part to whereever you want it.

i'd like that to be in my "special" section, but what template do i put it in and where do i place it in there? can i take individual static pages and have links for them in different places? like, some i may want in "special" and some i may want in "help." is there a way to do it so they don't all end up in the same spot?
